Over time, the breeding of our wines evolved. It is partially made, in Burgundian barrels of 3 wine makings minimum. We are, today even more than yesterday, worried of respecting the traditions, the soil and the vineyards. We want to protect the family character of the Vineyards, even if it implies a colossal work. Jean-Marie takes care of the vineyards work and of the seasonal staff. Christine accompanied by the oenologist, turns to wine. With Fanny's ideas (her daughter), she also takes care of the commercialization. It’s a team work.
To make discover and like our job, the sale in the cellar is essential. However, it represents only a part of the methods to make know our wines. We participate in shows which allow us to work also on the export.
In 1492, this property belonged to Lord Dominique of Panisse. It is situated few kilometers away from Orange. It extends over 17 hectares in the heart of beautiful vineyards. There are approximately 7 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 7 hectares in Côte du Rhône and the rest is for the production of Vin de Pays.
The vineyard is mainly planted in Grenache with floral aromas; it is the grape variety that dominates in the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It also possesses of Mourvèdre, more animal and fruitier Cinsault. To bring notes of licorice and a deeper color, we introduced Syrah in the 92s.
